One of my friends from Brazil put her pictures up, and I came across some that were worth sharing. Going through these pictures I could not stop laughing, and for a moment I was back in Brazil. I was reminded of all the memories and the laughter I shared with these people. These people changed my life. I have never in my life been so confident in the direction that I am heading and I have them to thank. When I think about Brazil an overwhelming amount of sadness comes over me because it is a part of everything I do.
Praiano has showed me how much I have here. I am lucky to be a part of something as big as competing at the collegiate level. Before every practice and game here in Wayne we have to stand at a line known as the line of commitment and the goal is to fully empty your mind of anything but soccer. Everytime I stand at that line, I put myself back at Praiano and recognize all the great things I have in front of me. Starting with an amazing team of people. Seriously, these girls make all the difference, and it is great to bring back a piece of Brazil to this team.
Thank you to everyone who read my blog! I am so glad I could inspire so many people and that everyone looked forward to reading it, that means a lot!
